Whether your property is private or public, letting an unknown tradesman in to quote on a project can be a risk in itself. Ensure that the tradesman is recommended and fully accredited - especially plumbers and electricians. Always get three quotes before you commission a tradesman to do work. Get your quotes in writing, and be wary of estimates. Check that materials are included.

Remember that The Review Doctor wants to read good reviews as well!! We want the good, honest businesses to bask in the glory, and we want the rogue traders to become extinct.

Why not write a review about your experience, for example, how long were you kept waiting for before your tradesman arrived and what state did he leave your home in? And after the dust had settled, were you still pleased with the work?

Remember, it takes good customer care AND good expertise to become a good tradesman!
